Quality life coaching offers an incredible return on investment, and can be a life-changing experience! I want you to be as informed, successful, and confident as possible before you turn the page to your new chapter in life! Many coaches are vague about their coaching process. Their websites may even leave you with more questions than answers. I think coaching should be different. Feel free to browse the common questions below and reach out through the contact page if you have any other questions.

How long does it take to see results?

Every client I work with gains insight, tangible and practical skills, as well as upgraded mindsets about their situations. Many experience dramatic changes in just 1 session, but that doesn’t mean they have reached all that is possible for them. Those who experience the most complete and lasting change usually work with me consistently for between 12-24 months.

Just like a sports coach, as a life coach, I can only provide so much. I can be the greatest football coach in the world, but if a player doesn’t bring their own motivation, time and effort, my coaching won’t magically work to make them as great as they could be.

What does life coaching cost?

Life coaching costs vary greatly from coach to coach. There are people who coach for free, but you often get what you pay for. Not only does the research show you are not as emotionally invested in the coaching if it is low cost, it also may not help meet your needs for growth. When you work with me, you get a coach with a proven track record, exceptional education, and someone who can get you the progress you crave! This ultimately saves you money and time down the line!

I would also encourage you to remember when it comes to price, you are the most valuable asset you have. You are guaranteed to be with you 24/7 for the rest of your life! Because of that, the most important investment you can make is in you! How much would you say it is worth to be able to achieve peace and strength from your emotions to help you reach your goals for the rest of your life? That is the amount we all should be willing to invest.

Having said that, I charge $200 per session for a 55 minute phone or zoom meeting, and I offer packages of 12 sessions for $2,250 ($187.5/session)

What is the difference between coaching and psychotherapy?

Coaching is for people who feel like they are doing well in life overall, but want more than just the status quo: they want to be or feel exceptional. A coach comes alongside you with information, strategic questions, and feedback to empower you to reach your proactive goals. They see you as a whole, capable person, and help you build on your strengths.

Psychotherapists are medical professionals who provide you with a medical diagnosis and treat a disorder or issue that is holding you back from functioning well in daily life. The therapist often sets goals for you and leads you through a treatment plan which is based on their knowledge of a disorder or issue. They help you cope with active trauma, and and overcome deficits to get back to a place where you can function without the issue or problem greatly disrupting your life.

Do you take medical insurance?

Coaching is powerful and transformative, but it does not involve a medical diagnosis, medical treatment, or therapy that is considered a medical treatment. Medical insurance requires a medical diagnosis, which no coach is able to provide as it is outside our scope of practice as coaches. If you need that kind of support, I encourage you to seek out a licensed mental health therapist.

What is a coaching session like?

Coaching sessions typically start with a brief review of what you have done to reach your goals since the last session. You may also update me about where you felt stuck, fearful, or ineffective. We then transition to discuss solutions, tools, mindsets, and options that will empower you to overcome what kept you stuck, and catapult you to the next level. I am a skilled listener who listens to not just what you say, but how you say it and why you say it. I then ask specific, targeted questions to uncover the deeper layer of what is going on for you. Finally, I offer feedback to help you gain clarity on exactly what is going on, and what needs to change to reach your goals. We end each session by creating concrete action steps or goals you commit to working on before the next session.

Do you provide any additional support outside of the session?

Yes! I have an App at a very low costs that includes video trainings and worksheets that can expedite your transformation! I also recommend my clients keep a journal of any topics or situations that come up during the week, so that these can be specifically discussed in the next session.

Do you offer coaching over phone or video?

Yes! I offer both options and you are free to choose your preference. I currently do not offer sessions in person.

What can I do to get to my goals more quickly?

Clients who achieve their goals most quickly tend to start sessions prepared and with an idea of what they would like to discuss. They tend to take notes during the session, set aside time each week to study the lessons, worksheets, and take all the action steps between sessions.

How long are coaching sessions with you, and how frequently do we meet?

I offer both 55 minute sessions and 30 minute sessions.

How do I find your app?
What are your qualifications?

I love that people ask this question because many coaches do not even hold a certificate and do not demonstrate commitment to their own growth! However, for me, this is a lifelong passion, and I have invested greatly in growing to be better at helping you become the best version of yourself, the version that you absolutely love!

I have been helping people do this for over 15 years! I have worked in all kinds of settings and spent many years as a therapist in treatment centers and hospital settings. I hold a doctorate in clinical psychology, which demonstrates a high commitment to understanding human behavior, neurobiology, and change. I also hold two master’s degrees, including one in psychology from Pepperdine University.

I love improving, growing, and offering the best version of myself to my clients! Unlike other coaches, this is not a side gig for me. I have my own coach, I pay for monthly supervision sessions with an experienced coach, and I meet with a group of coaches to expand our learning and support each other.

In addition to academic degrees, I hold the following certificates:

Certified Life Coach – The Academy of Modern Applied Psychology

Certified Nutrition Coach -The National Academy of Sports Medicine

Neuro-Linguistic Programing Practitioner – The Academy of Modern Applied Psychology
